Developing Necton's Green Lung

2020 will see the exciting launch of our new environment initiative in Necton - establishing the village Marlpit as a community woodland space. The Marlpit, recently purchased by Necton Parish Council, is an neglected and overgrown woodland area, located between St Andrew's Lane and Kett's Hill.

Our goal is to work with local residents to bring this neglected space back into a community woodland where people can walk, play, run or simply sit quietly and enjoy the magic of nature around them.
