NAT trustees and volunteers worked swiftly this Saturday morning to clear fallen trees and branches following recent stormy winds that took down two old trees, creating partial obstructions on the upper level paths.
It's said that many hands make light work, and this morning's session with five lovely community volunteers, the two trees were sawn into manageable chunks and dispersed around the wilder sections of the wood, where they will continue to provide a rich source of food and habitat for wildlife.
There's more to do and next Saturday will see NAT volunteers on site again, to continue clearing and tidying around the path network. If you'd like to join our team, contact us for a chat to learn more.
